Fatih Altaylı reacts to Kılıçdaroğlu's 'Palace' article criticizing Özgür Özel without naming him! 'If you had this much political wisdom...'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel met at the AKP Headquarters on May 2. Following the summit, Erdoğan gave a message of a 'normalization period' in politics.

While the repercussions of the meeting between the two leaders continue, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized CHP leader Özgür Özel without naming him in his article titled “From a single ring to the reign in the palace…” on T24. At the end of his article, Kılıçdaroğlu included the lines, “I did not cross the treacherous bridge, the water would have carried me away, I will not sleep in a jackal's den, even if lions were to eat me…”

Journalist Fatih Altaylı reacted to Kılıçdaroğlu's 'Palace' article, which drew attention with its timing.

In his article titled "Kılıçdaroğlu's ointment" published on his own website, Altaylı used the following expressions;

"YOU WOULD THINK HE WON ELECTION AFTER ELECTION IN 13 YEARS"

"Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu continues to speak and criticize. Whom? His party. Or rather, he is criticizing the management of the party he chaired for 13 years and giving advice to those who run the party. You would think that in those 13 years, he won election after election, ran from success to success, made the government regret its existence, and is now showing the way as a successful former chairman!"

"IF YOU HAD THIS MUCH POLITICAL WISDOM..."

Hey, Mr. Kemal, Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, do you remember that you lost 13 elections during the 13 years you served as chairman of this party! You could not win 3 Presidential elections, one of which was your own candidacy! During your chairmanship, you could not increase your party's vote share by even a single point!

And now you are criticizing and trying to guide a party management and a chairman who managed to emerge as the 1st party in an election for the first time in 50 years, succeeded in defeating Erdoğan, who was thought to be invincible, and won provinces that were said to be unwinnable for the first time in the history of our multi-party regime.

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, if you had this much political wisdom, why didn't you use it for 13 years! If you knew this business so well, why did you lose 13 times in a row!

"SIT WHERE YOU ARE, DON'T BE RIDICULOUS"

Mr. Kemal, that Palace rose during your chairmanship. That regime was fortified during your chairmanship. The 10 points in your latest manifesto where you give advice to the CHP, all of which are true, came to life right before your eyes, during your term as chairman. The first two might be one thing, but Erdoğan's third Presidential term is solely and exclusively the result of your personal mistakes and your ego, which was inflated by your pro-AKP circle.

Therefore, I think you should sit where you are and stop trying to give advice. Don't be ridiculous.

Don't force us to say, 'If you had an ointment, why didn't you apply it to your own head?'"
