Fatih Portakal reacts to Soylu and Nebati walking hand-in-hand in Parliament: 'Neither is being held accountable'
Journalist Fatih Portakal reacted to former ministers Süleyman Soylu and Nureddin Nebati walking hand-in-hand in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), stating, "One ruined the economy, and we are living through the consequences; the other caused us to lose peace in internal security."
During a break in the budget negotiations at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), former Interior Minister and AKP Istanbul MP Süleyman Soylu and former Treasury and Finance Minister, AKP Mersin MP Nurettin Nebati, approached Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli to shake his hand.
After leaving Bahçeli, Soylu and Nebati walked through Parliament hand-in-hand while chatting.
"ONE RUINED THE ECONOMY, THE OTHER DESTROYED INTERNAL SECURITY"
Sözcü TV Main News Anchor Fatih Portakal criticized the two former ministers over these images.
Portakal said the following:
“We are talking about two people who have brought the country to its knees, one in economic terms and the other in terms of security. The state of the economy is clear, and the state of internal peace is also clear. The two of them walked around the Parliament General Assembly hand-in-hand and heart-to-heart like this. One was the Minister of Interior, the other was the minister responsible for the economy. One ruined the economy, and we are living through the consequences; the other caused us to lose peace in internal security. Look at Ali Yerlikaya… Thank God someone like that came along and is trying to clean things up. Neither of them is being held accountable in this country.”
