"We didn'ttalk on the phone much, but we would check in from time to time. A week ago, he calledme, saying, 'Fato, how are you?' It was around 11:30 or 12 at night... It's not something we were used to. We talked for a bit; I thought he was going to ask me something.
Then I realizedthere is no such thing. I said, 'Is everything alright, brother?' He replied, 'I just asked, I'm glad you're well. Give my regards to the house, to the...to hiswife, to hischildren, to his grandchildren...' It seems he was saying goodbye to us.
When I went to the hospital, the doctor was already not sounding very hopefulhad not spoken. May God have mercy on his soul. The truth iswe have lost a truly good person.Even if we didn't talk or call each other from time to time, we were two friends who always embraced whenever we met. May God have mercy on his soul."
