Speaking at the congress held at the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Atatürk Cultural Center, Kaya argued that the AKP represents a women's movement, saying, “The AK Party is a women's movement. Women play a critical role in our party's success. The AK Party is a movement of a cause that has risen on the shoulders of women and reached where it is today.”
