Fatma Nur Çelik and her daughter Hifa İkra were found dead in Zeytinburnu on March 2.
In the audio recording uncovered by 12punto's Cenk Başboğaoğlu, it can be heard that Çelik, who was being pressured to drop her complaint, was explicitly intimidated with statements such as, "Muslims will wash their hands of you," "The laws of this filthy system," "A child cannot be handed over to someone with a broken psyche," and "If you take this step, you will face the consequences."
The recording also shows that in response to Çelik's cry, "My husband always used to say, 'You are my slave, I control you,'" the intermediaries, instead of seeking justice, advised her to remain silent by targeting the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
THE TRIAL WILL BE HELD TOMORROW
Meanwhile, ahead of the verdict hearing for the case to be held tomorrow at the Istanbul Anatolian 2nd High Criminal Court, the defendant A.Ş. continues to be tried without arrest.
While the HSK complaint and objections filed against the presiding judge regarding the decision to have the child testify in the courtroom were rejected, it has been learned that a lawsuit has been filed against the family's lawyer, Müjde Tozbey, and her passport has been cancelled.
