Fazıl Say concludes China tour with Beijing concert: Piano recital in the 'Forbidden City'
Fazıl Say concluded his China tour with a concert held in the Forbidden City, located in China's capital, Beijing.
Turkish pianist and composer Fazıl Say performed a concert in Beijing last night (September 28) as part of his China tour.

The concert, held at the Zhongshan Park Concert Hall within the former Imperial Palace, known as the 'Forbidden City,' drew interest from Chinese music lovers and Turkish citizens living in Beijing.

In the first part of the concert, Say performed German composer Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Goldberg Variations,' while in the second part, he played his own original works, including the 'New Life Sonata,' ballads, 'Black Earth' (Kara Toprak), which was inspired by Aşık Veysel, and various jazz variations.

As part of his China tour, Fazıl Say performed concerts in the cities of Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shanghai, and Beijing between September 20-28.
