Femicides in Turkey show no signs of stopping.

A horrific murder took place in the Taşoluk neighborhood of Istanbul's Arnavutköy district.

According to the information obtained, Serpil Gül (35) and Harun Gül (40), who had been in the process of divorcing for 2 years, came together yesterday for the circumcision ceremony of one of their 2 children. This morning, an argument broke out between the two over the issue of 'you take care of the children'. Following the argument, Harun Gül chased his wife, Serpil Gül, down the street with the gun he was carrying. When Gül fell to the ground in the middle of the street, she was shot 3 times in the head by Harun Gül and killed.

HE DID NOT ALLOW THE AMBULANCE, WAITED OVER HER AFTER THE MURDER

Upon notification, numerous police teams and an ambulance arrived at the scene. It is alleged that Harun Gül, who did not allow the ambulance to enter the street, waited over his wife whom he had killed. Harun Gül, who was called out to by police teams using a vehicle megaphone, surrendered to the police with his weapon.
