Ferry services to Bozcaada and Gökçeada in Çanakkale cancelled due to storm

Ferry services to the Bozcaada and Gökçeada districts of Çanakkale in the North Aegean Sea have been suspended for two days due to an ongoing storm. In a statement issued by Gestaş Deniz Ulaşım A.Ş., which provides transportation between the Dardanelles and the islands, it was announced that scheduled ferry services, which were cancelled yesterday, have also been cancelled today due to the northeasterly storm.

It was reported that all scheduled ferry services on the Geyikli-Bozcaada and Kabatepe-Gökçeada lines could not be carried out today due to adverse weather conditions. All scheduled ferry services on the same lines were also cancelled yesterday due to the storm in the region.

In the statement made by Gestaş, it was stated, "All our scheduled services on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. All our scheduled services on the Geyikli-Bozcaada line have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions."
