Feti Yıldız's 'absolute nullity' statement: Kılıçdaroğlu and his team could legally become authorized again

In a statement regarding the issue on his social media account, Yıldız expressed the following:

"A cancellation lawsuit was filed regarding the 38th Grand Assembly held on November 4-5, 2023, where Mr. Özgür Özel was elected CHP Chairman, on the grounds that the 'will of the delegates was vitiated by absolute nullity'.

The local court rejected the request for absolute nullity without examining the merits.

The court's rejection decision was taken to the Ankara Regional Court of Justice for appellate review.

During the review process, the appellate court requested all evidence and case files from the relevant local courts in Istanbul and Ankara.

The court is still examining all these documents.

If a decision of absolute nullity is issued and the decision becomes final, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team could legally become authorized again instead of the Özgür Özel administration.

In the criminal case heard at the Ankara 26th Criminal Court of First Instance, which was opened on the grounds of 'irregularity' and 'rigging the vote' at the CHP's 38th Ordinary Grand Assembly, 12 defendants are being tried.

The fifth hearing of the case will be held on May 6."
