'FETÖ' dispute erupts between brothers in Menzil: 'I am the lord of this village...'

Following the death of Menzil leader Abdulbaki Elhüseyni in July 2023, a 'throne struggle' began within the sect. 

Despite the announcement that Muhammed Saki, Muhammed Mubarek, and Muhammed Fettah Elhüseyni would jointly lead the community through 'co-sheikhdom,' things did not go as expected.

As new incidents are added to the internal conflicts of the sect every day, Saki Elhüseyni, the eldest son of Abdulbaki Elhüseyni and the one said to have the most followers, recently met with those living in the Menzil village.

According to a report by İsmail Arı from Birgün, Saki Elhüseyni both accused his brothers and once again emphasized that he is the leader of Menzil in his speech there.

"I AM THE LORD OF BOTH THEM AND THE VILLAGE"

Using the phrase "I am the lord of this village," Elhüseyni said the following:

"Open your ears well and listen to me! I am Seyyid Saki, the lord of this family and this village. 51 percent of this village is mine; what I say goes. Whether they accept it or not. When they (referring to his brothers) hadn't even reached puberty, I was already my father's caliph. Even if they don't see me as great or treat me as an older brother, I am the lord of both them and the village. Let this be known!

"THEY HAVE BECOME MORE DANGEROUS THAN FETÖ"

They cannot do anything without my consent. If someone is to enter or leave, I decide that, that's it. They (referring to his brothers) have become more dangerous than FETÖ. They have started calling what I say is true, a lie. They say; they claim that Seyyid Saki is not the biological son of the Gavs (the deceased Menzil sheikh). They have reached this point."
