FETÖ investigation into the 2014 Capital Markets Board Assistant Specialist Exam: 10 detention warrants issued

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention warrants for 10 suspects as part of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) investigation into the 2014 Capital Markets Board (CMB) Assistant Specialist Exam.

FETÖ investigation into the 2014 Capital Markets Board Assistant Specialist Exam: 10 detention warrants issued

In a statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that within the scope of the investigation into the 2014 Capital Markets Board Assistant Specialist Exam conducted by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau, it was determined that the exam questions were accessed by FETÖ members before the written exam and distributed to members of the organization.

Following this, it was reported that detention warrants were issued for a total of 10 suspects—4 of whom have been dismissed from their positions, 1 who is a private sector employee, and 5 who are active public personnel—who were determined to have received the exam questions and succeeded in the exams, leading to their appointments. The operations are being carried out simultaneously across 3 provinces, with Ankara as the center.

The statement noted that efforts to apprehend the suspects and transfer them to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are being continued by teams from the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch.
