Feud between TRT announcers Kerem Öncel and Mehmet Sevinç: Remarks about Vargas and Hande Baladın have entered the court file

TRT announcer Kerem Öncel made a post on his social media account that is set to spark much discussion.

"I WILL NEVER CONSIDER YOU A DECENT PERSON"

Öncel, who covers volleyball matches for TRT, stated in a post on his X account: "I will never consider you a decent person. I will not take you seriously even when you stoop low enough to say to a woman, 'The father of your children is unknown.' The Turkish public will learn how disgusting you are, and I will never grow old."

While it was a matter of curiosity who Öncel was referring to in the post, a social media user asked Öncel, "What's going on, brother?"

"A LAWSUIT HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST MEHMET SEVİNÇ"

In his reply, Öncel stated that the person he was targeting was TRT announcer Mehmet Sevinç.

Using striking expressions regarding Sevinç, Öncel said, "A lawsuit has been filed against Mehmet Sevinç, and Mehmet Sevinç said about Hande Baladın, 'Why doesn't she pass to Vargas? If I were a woman, I would.' This is in the court records."

Events that took place during a TRT live broadcast before the Turkey vs. Italy match at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games had become a hot topic on social media.

Kerem Öncel had conducted an interview with former national volleyball player Özlem Özçelik before the match.
