Feyza Altun detained over 'Sharia' social media post!
Feyza Altun has been detained after the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation into her regarding a 'Sharia' post on social media.
Lawyer Feyza Altun is the subject of an ex officio investigation launched by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crime of “publicly inciting hatred and hostility or insulting” due to the phrase "I f*** Sharia" she wrote on her social media account.
Following the post, a campaign was launched on social media with the hashtag '#feyzaaltuntutuklansın' (arrest Feyza Altun) calling for her arrest.
Altun, whose home was searched and items seized by the Security Branch Directorate, was taken into custody and brought to Bayrampaşa State Hospital for a medical check-up.
It was learned that Altun will be taken to the police station after the procedures there are completed.
