Field Proficiency Tests session of YKS completed

Following the first session of YKS, the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), which was held yesterday, the second session, the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT), which began today at 10:15, has also concluded.

A total of 282 thousand 812 personnel served in the exam, which was administered in 6 thousand 231 buildings and 112 thousand 695 halls.

In the AYT, for which a total of 2 million 19 thousand 709 candidates applied, candidates were asked 40 questions in the Turkish Language and Literature-Social Sciences-1 Test, 40 questions in the Social Sciences-2 Test, 40 questions in the Mathematics Test, and 40 questions in the Science Test, and were given 180 minutes.

A total of 8 thousand 334 disabled candidates participated in the AYT in individual and group halls organized according to disability groups. 1140 readers-markers served in the AYT.

Candidates were not admitted to the exam buildings after 10:00. Provincial and district population directorates were kept open on exam days for candidates who lost their Turkish identity cards, did not have an identity card, or whose identity cards did not contain a Turkish identity number and photograph.

With the regulation made this year, an additional 30 minutes of time is given to all disabled candidates who receive reader or marker assistance and do not have the right to benefit from additional time.

On the other hand, the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) is being held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, for the national football players of the Under-18 National Football Team participating in the Friendship Tournament.

FINAL SESSION YDT

The third and final session, the Foreign Language Test (YDT), will also be administered today at 15:45, and candidates will be given 120 minutes. In the YDT, which will be held in German, Arabic, French, English, and Russian, 80 questions will be asked and 120 minutes will be given. There will be a separate question booklet for each language.

Candidates will be given the question booklet for the foreign language they declared in their application.
