Berkay Gezgin, the architect of the 'Everything Will Be Very Beautiful' slogan who was detained during protests in Saraçhane following the arrest and suspension of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has been arrested.
In his message, Gezgin stated the following:
"This case is political. Whatever the decision, we are innocent; they are holding us here unlawfully. They are subjecting 21-22-year-old Turkish youth who love their country and nation and are seeking their rights to arrest here. The situation we have reached is both ridiculous and terrifying. Everything will be very beautiful only if we fight; if we don't, it won't happen."
