Financial Crimes Unit summons over 210 IMM employees for questioning

Teams from the Financial Crimes Unit of the Istanbul Police Department have summoned over 210 IMM employees for questioning.

Financial Crimes Unit teams have called in over 210 IMM bureaucrats and personnel working in subsidiaries who have served at the IMM for questioning.

INDIVIDUALS WHO SERVED DURING THE AKP ERA WERE ALSO SUMMONED

It was learned that individuals who served during the AKP era were also among those summoned for questioning in the development, which does not involve any detention procedures.

Financial Crimes Unit teams summoned over 210 IMM bureaucrats and personnel working in various subsidiaries such as Kültür A.Ş. and Medya A.Ş. who have served at the IMM.

It was stated that municipal employees have been summoned for questioning for approximately 2 months, but there has been intense traffic for statements in the last two days following the announcement of the indictment.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed the investigation into the “Aziz İhsan Aktaş Criminal Organization.” The indictment prepared against a total of 200 people, 40 of whom are under arrest, including many mayors, has been completed and submitted to the Istanbul 1st High Criminal Court.
