According to the information obtained, a fire broke out in the engine compartment of the 142B line IETT bus, which was traveling in the direction of Süzer Boulevard in Bahçeşehir at around 18:30.

The driver, seeing smoke rising from the bus, pulled the vehicle to the side of the road. Passengers were quickly evacuated from the vehicle. During this time, the driver and a citizen intervened in the flames with a fire extinguisher.
While the area was covered in smoke, fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification. It was learned that there were no deaths or injuries in the incident as the fire crews, who reached the scene in a short time, extinguished the fire.
