Fire breaks out on Istiklal Avenue! Street closed

A fire of unknown origin has broken out at a store near the Odakule Business Center on Istiklal Avenue. Following the start of the fire on Emir Nevruz Street around 5:00 PM, numerous fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.

The fire, which started on the top floor of a clothing chain store, was visible from many parts of the city. Police have closed off a section of the avenue as a precautionary measure.

While the Beyoğlu Municipality fire department's intervention continues, reinforcement teams have also been sent to the area.

Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing.
