The fire broke out in a 3-story building belonging to the University of Health Sciences located on Tıbbiye Street in Selimiye, Üsküdar.
According to reports, the fire started on the roof for an unknown reason during renovations at the building.
Upon notification, numerous firefighting crews were dispatched to the scene. The teams intervening in the flames brought the fire under control. Cooling and smoke evacuation efforts are ongoing.
During the teams' intervention, the building's burning dome collapsed.
