Fire in Antakya: 4 containers housing earthquake survivors burned to the ground
A fire that broke out in a container city in the Antakya district of Hatay left 4 containers unusable.
The fire broke out at approximately 18:45 at the Ankara Chamber of Industry container city located in the Kisecik neighborhood of Antakya district.
The fire, which started in a container where disaster survivors were living, spread to other nearby containers in a short time.
Upon notification, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality fire department teams were dispatched to the region.
The flames were brought under control in a short time with the intervention of the teams. 4 containers were rendered unusable in the fire.
The teams have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
