Fire in Söke: 3 people affected by smoke

In a fire that broke out at night in the Söke district of Aydın, three people were affected by smoke, and it was learned that a cat and a bird in the building could not be saved.

According to the information obtained, a fire, allegedly caused by a hair dryer, started in a house on the second floor of a three-story building in Söke's Konak neighborhood during the night. The fire grew quickly and engulfed the building. Upon reports from citizens, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the area. As the flames spread rapidly to the upper floors, four people trapped on the third floor were rescued by the intervention of fire crews. Three people affected by smoke were treated by medical teams in an ambulance. The fire was brought under control after approximately two hours of work. A bird and a cat located on the third floor of the building died after being affected by the heavy smoke.
