Fire in Syria spreads to Turkey
A forest fire that broke out in the Kesab region of Syria has spread to the Yayladağı district of Hatay.
The fire broke out in a forested area in the Kesab region of the city of Latakia, located at the zero point of the Turkey-Syria border, at around 15:30.
While the fire, which started in an area close to the Yayladağı Border Gate, caused concern among citizens living in the Yayladağı district of Hatay, the flames spread to Turkey due to the effect of the wind.
Teams are intervening in the flames, which can also be seen from the city center.
