Fire panic in Esenler! Extinguished following intervention by crews

The fire occurred around 09:00 on Anadolu Street in the Havaalanı neighborhood of Esenler. According to the information obtained, the fire broke out while renovations were being carried out on the roof of a 3-story building on the street. The fire spread to the entire roof in a short time. Citizens who saw the smoke rising notified the police and fire department teams.

Crews arriving at the scene intervened in the fire where flames were rising. Following the efforts, the fire was brought under control.

Bülent Koç, who was on the street during the fire, said, “They are doing renovations on the roof. It caught fire while they were applying insulation material with a blowtorch. The fire started on the roof. One apartment is unusable. There are no injuries at the moment. Our firefighter friends intervened. The fire has been brought under control.”

The fire was completely extinguished after the cooling efforts carried out by the crews. While there were no casualties in the fire, the roof was rendered unusable after the incident.
