First assessment on the 'framework law' from AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan: It will reinforce our national unity

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made the following statement regarding the bill in question:

The Bill on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, prepared as a result of comprehensive consultations, was submitted to the appreciation of our esteemed Parliament today with a broad consensus reflecting our noble nation's will for a solution. 

I hope that this step, which aims to permanently rid Turkey of the threat of terrorism, reinforce our national unity and solidarity, and strengthen the climate of peace in our country and region, will be auspicious.

I would like to thank our political party groups and members of parliament, especially our People's Alliance partner, Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, who contributed both to the completion of the bill and to the success of the process.
