Comedian Deniz Göktaş was targeted by circles close to the government after releasing his show titled "Ölü Deniz" (Dead Sea), which he performed in Harbiye, on YouTube.

"I just saw Deniz Göktaş and our colleague, lawyer Mehmet Pehlivan, at the Karatepe High-Security Prison. Both of them are in extremely good spirits and morale, and they send their best regards to everyone. I asked Deniz if there was anything he wanted to say. I asked, and he is supporting Argentina. By the way, he has already started writing a new podcast."
