First photo of İmamoğlu in prison: 'Family is sacred'

The first photo taken in prison of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is being held in Silivri, has been released.

Ekrem İmamoğlu shared the photo in question on his social media account with the note, "Family is peace, trust, and happiness. Family is sacred."

İBB Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested on March 23, met with his family during an open visitation session.

His wife Dilek İmamoğlu, his eldest son Mehmet Selim İmamoğlu, and his daughter Beren İmamoğlu came to visit İmamoğlu.

It was observed that İmamoğlu's mother Hava İmamoğlu, his father Hasan İmamoğlu, and his sister Neslihan Yakupçebioğlu also came to visit during the open visitation.

Ekrem İmamoğlu shared the photo from the open visitation on his social media account.

İmamoğlu captioned the photo, "Family is peace, trust, and happiness. Family is sacred."
