First response to Mansur Yavaş's 'I am being attacked from the left and right' statement: CHP's Başarır speaks out

Başarır made assessments regarding the current agenda during a live broadcast. Participating in the Nokta Atışı program on Sözcütv, Ali Mahir Başarır said the following regarding Yavaş's words and the attacks directed at the CHP:

(He responded to the spending accusations against CHP municipalities made by Erdoğan upon his return from Hungary)

"The President of this country, who says this, talks about austerity, but he needs to look at himself in the gold-leafed mirror in his palace and look at how the presidential budget is spent...

He was given a budget of 1 billion liras to spend on aircraft, but he spent 4 billion liras by the end of the year... 

It is a fact that he has more than 8 planes. You talk about austerity; with all due respect, we are not holding these concerts for ourselves, we are holding them for our people. Concerts have almost become the only entertainment for our citizens and the youth.

Young people come to these events and have fun; what interest could the mayor have here? Is this money thrown into the street?

Should they go to private clubs for children to have fun? Besides, they don't have enough money for that anyway.

'LEFT AND RIGHT' STATEMENT

Mansur Yavaş requested an investigation into the money spent on municipal concerts. When I spoke with him, he told me the same thing; he initiated his own internal investigation. There is not a single investigation into the multi-billion dollar fortune of Melih Gökçek, and this man was forced to resign...

While there is such a situation on one side, we are investigating the complaints we receive ourselves. 

The 'left and right' remark in Mansur Bey's statement does not refer to political parties; he is talking about these types of attacks coming from almost everywhere. Especially after the March elections, there has hardly been a day without inspectors.

There is a pool media that uses incredible slander as a tool for attack... There is a system practically set up to prevent work from being done.

Mansur Bey touched upon the perception operations; I also spoke with him during the week. It is very wrong to think that he has a problem with us in this sense. Why would such a situation exist?
