From the very first moment I took office, there has been only one priority in my heart and mind: Foça.
Being worthy of the trust of my fellow citizens who entrusted me with this honorable legacy, producing permanent solutions to the problems our city has been waiting to solve for years, and strengthening the future of Foça have been my sole goals. I have acted solely out of love for my hometown, without pursuing any personal political gain or career calculations.
It sometimes takes great courage for our Foça to reach its true potential, to break out of its shell, and to achieve the value it deserves. We will never hesitate to take these bold steps for Foça.
Municipalism requires going beyond political boundaries and polarization to establish a sincere dialogue with all institutions and to defend the future of the city with determination on every platform. In order to strengthen our city's common sense, its will to produce services, and its determination to work, I have decided to continue my political journey under the roof of the Justice and Development Party.
On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to our President and AK Party Chairman, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who listened to us with sincerity from the first moment I conveyed the work, dreams, and goals we envision for our Foça, and who did not spare his support and interest.
This decision is by no means a step to distance myself from past efforts or the colleagues we have walked with. The efforts of everyone who has worked for our city to date are valuable; the choice of every Foça resident who expressed their will at the ballot box is a crown on my head.
I want to state very clearly that: Just as I was yesterday, today and tomorrow, I am the Mayor of all Foça residents without any discrimination.
Our door and our hearts are wide open to all our fellow citizens. In our understanding, there is no marginalization, but rather uniting in our common denominator, Foça.
I respect every constructive opinion and criticism made with democratic maturity. However, what I will focus on primarily is a sincere and action-oriented municipalism that touches my fellow citizens on the street and solves problems in the field.
I will continue to dedicate all my energy, time, and love to our beautiful Foça with the same faith and determination.
