The earthquake, recorded at a depth of 7 kilometers, was also felt in surrounding provinces.

While AFAD reported that there were no negative developments following the earthquake, all eyes turned to expert figures.

It is a place where an earthquake has occurred before. It can produce a magnitude 7 earthquake, but we do not expect a new earthquake of that magnitude."
