First statement from the Minister of Industry and Technology regarding the explosion at TUSAŞ!
A statement has been issued by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Kacır regarding the terrorist attack on the TUSAŞ campus in Ankara.
A terrorist attack took place in front of the TUSAŞ facilities located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. Following the attack, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a statement confirming that it was a "terrorist attack" and noting that there were martyrs and wounded.
A statement also came from the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
In his statement, Kacır used the following expressions:
"I received news that there was an armed attack at the TUSAŞ campus. I called our President of Defense Industries; he confirmed the news, but there was no opportunity to share information regarding the details yet. May God protect all our engineers and researchers. We will never take a step back from the defense industry or our journey of the national technology initiative."
