First statement from Yılmaz Tunç following meeting with DEM Party
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who met with the DEM Party Imralı Delegation, made his first statement following the meeting.
The traffic of meetings continues in the new reconciliation process, which is architected by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and which the government has named a 'Terror-Free Turkey'.
The DEM Party Imralı Delegation had recently gone to the Palace to visit AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The delegation, consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan, was set to meet with Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç after Erdoğan. The meeting, which was postponed to a later date due to Sırrı Süreyya Önder's health condition, took place today.
The DEM Party delegation went to the Ministry of Justice at 10:30. The delegation included DEM Party Parliamentary Group Deputy Chairs Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit and Sezai Temelli, as well as Co-Vice Chair and Co-Spokesperson of the Law and Human Rights Commission Öztürk Türkdoğan.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, in a post on his social media account regarding the meeting, stated, "We held evaluations regarding the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process during the meeting."
