Flash claim in the Seçil Erzan case: Emre Belözoğlu and Arda Turan asked Erdoğan for help

The fraud chain, which began when manager of Denizbank's Levent branch Seçil Erzan—who was also his financial advisor for a period—was given 300 thousand dollars by coach Fatih Terim, and which eventually became known as the 'Fatih Terim Fund', involves the names of many people, including Arda Turan, Emre Belözoğlu, Fernando Muslera, Volkan Bahçekapılı, Buse Terim, and Selçuk İnan. 

Striking details continue to emerge in the case of former branch manager Seçil Erzan, who faces a demand for 226 years in prison for allegedly defrauding many people from the worlds of sports and business with the promise of high returns.

EMRE BELÖZOĞLU AND ARDA TURAN ASKED ERDOĞAN FOR HELP

Journalist Fatih Altaylı stated regarding the incident where banker Seçil Erzan allegedly defrauded many people, including famous football players, under the name of the "Fatih Terim Fund": "After the incident broke, Emre Belözoğlu and Arda Turan went to President Erdoğan. They explained the situation and asked for help. Upon this, a call was made to the bank's management from the Presidency, and it was requested that 'these boys' not be victimized." 

Writing about the fraud case that has dominated the agenda, Altaylı stated: "In this fraud operation, Seçil Erzan's most important asset was her closeness to Fatih Terim. Terim introduced Seçil to his lawyer Gürol; according to some, they were even engaged, and according to others, they had even exchanged rings."

Fatih Altaylı's column on the subject is as follows: 

"Fatih Terim and Seçil Erzan met outside of work as well; they knew each other as families.

In fact, Seçil Erzan had organized an invitation for Fatih Terim in Bozcaada, and the food for the invitation was prepared and served by Yalova Restaurant, a famous and very expensive fish restaurant in Çanakkale.

Fatih Terim likely ate the most expensive fish of his life in Bozcaada and ended up paying the bill together with the football players who trusted him.

WHY IS TERİM NOT INVOLVED?

I don't know why Terim is not in the file.

A former football player who doesn't particularly like Terim says, 'He is sharp. He might have thought, if I feel I can't get the money back, let's at least not make a fool of ourselves.'

I don't think that's very likely.

Perhaps he had already recovered his money before the events broke.

We will find out.

But after I said 'Terim has evaporated,' he made a statement saying he was a creditor, but he did not say why he was not among the plaintiffs.

Some point to his closeness with Mehmet Ağar as the reason why Fatih Terim does not have a lawsuit, saying, 'Ağar has already collected his money.'

The bank's management replied, 'If they have documents and there are matching records in the bank, we will pay immediately. But if there is no documentation and the deposited money does not appear in the records, it is not possible for us to make a payment. Let them file a lawsuit; if they win the case, we will gladly pay. Otherwise, we would be committing the crime of embezzlement and, in a sense, extortion. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to make a payment.'

In other words, in a place where the President's wish was not fulfilled, Mehmet Ağar could not have saved Terim."
