Flash detail in MIT report! Decay in the judiciary has spread to Bakırköy Courthouse
While the repercussions of the 'bribery in the judiciary' petition by Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor İsmail Uçar continue, a striking detail has emerged in the 'judicial decay' report submitted by the MIT to the Presidency.
Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor İsmail Uçar's submission of a petition containing allegations of 'bribery in the judiciary' to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has been followed by a striking detail regarding the Bakırköy Courthouse in a report submitted by the MIT to the Presidency.
T24 columnist Tolga Şardan stated that the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) also prepared a report on the judiciary and submitted it to the Presidency.
"CONNECTIONS IDENTIFIED"
Şardan said the following in his column today:
"Connections consisting of the contents of files, the judicial members who made decisions on the files, and the file trackers who followed the files and ensured their conclusion were identified. In addition to decisions to block access granted in exchange for money, judicial members who signed off on interesting release and arrest decisions that raised questions were identified."
"THEY ARE MOVING THEIR COMPANIES TO THE RESPONSIBILITY ZONES OF BAKIRKÖY COURTHOUSE"
Pointing out that the Istanbul Bakırköy Courthouse is at the center of the initial allegations of decay in the judiciary, Şardan also included the following finding from the report regarding the Bakırköy Courthouse:
"Those against whom judicial investigations have been initiated, particularly on the grounds of drug trafficking, are moving their residences, workplaces, and companies to the responsibility zones of the Bakırköy Courthouse. In this way, the opportunity to obtain decisions more easily during the investigation and prosecution stages of judicial processes at the Bakırköy Courthouse is created."
