Flash statement on Israel from Iran's Chief of General Staff! Will the operation continue?

Iranian Chief of General Staff Mohammad Bagheri evaluated the attack launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against Israel in a statement to Iranian state television.

"WE HAVE NO INTENTION TO CONTINUE THE OPERATION"

Bagheri said, "The operation has been successfully completed. We view this operation as a complete result, and we have no intention to continue the operation."

Stating that the Tel Aviv administration crossed a red line by attacking Iran's consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria, Bagheri expressed that they would launch a more comprehensive attack on Israel should there be a new attack against Iran.

Noting that civilian settlements and economic zones were not targeted, Bagheri stated that although they have the capability to launch many more missiles, they made an effort to keep the attack on Israel at a warning level.

IRAN-ISRAEL TENSION

Israel had carried out an airstrike on Iran's consulate building in Damascus on April 1. A total of 7 people, including 2 generals from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, were killed in the attack.

Iran had announced that Israel's consulate attack meant an attack on its own territory and that they would retaliate. Israel, for its part, had declared that it would respond to Iran's attack.

Iran launched an attack on Israel yesterday with hundreds of kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

Iran announced that some military targets were hit, while Israel stated that most of the attacks were intercepted by air defense systems, but that a missile had struck a military base in the south.
