As passengers rebelled against the flight delay, one of them spoke to 12punto.

The passenger who was subjected to the flight delay described what happened as follows:

 "Passengers protested with applause"

“The Pegasus flight scheduled to depart from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Antalya at 17:20 did not take off until 22:00. First, we were told the plane was faulty and the aircraft was changed, and then it was stated that there was traffic on the runway. If there was going to be traffic on the runway, why was Atatürk Airport closed? They told us the pilot wanted another technical team to inspect the plane, and they delayed the 17:20 flight in stages of 10 to 25 minutes until 21:00. We boarded the plane at 21:00, and they said takeoff would be at 22:30. Meal vouchers were assigned to the tickets. Some people ate before boarding the plane, but since it was done at the last minute, not everyone could eat. Water was requested on the plane with a protest of applause. According to the flight attendant, the Pegasus flight scheduled to depart for Antalya after this one was actually ahead of us in the queue. In fact, the flight after ours was going to take off before us; our plane was only able to take off after 5 hours.”
