Flights reduced at Istanbul Airport
Due to the snowfall affecting Istanbul, flights at Istanbul Airport have been reduced. Because of the heavy snowfall, 10 percent of flights scheduled for tomorrow and 20 percent of flights scheduled for Friday at Istanbul Airport have been canceled.
Following meteorological warnings, it was announced that snowfall would intensify during the night and remain effective for 3 days.
Due to adverse weather conditions, many airline companies had canceled their flights departing from and arriving at Istanbul Airport following the Meteorological Emergency Committee (MADKOM) meeting.

In line with the decision taken, it was announced that 10 percent of the flights scheduled for tomorrow from Istanbul Airport have been canceled. It was stated that 20 percent of flights will be canceled on Friday, when the snowfall is expected to intensify.
