Fog affects some parts of Istanbul

Fog, which was effective in the morning hours in Istanbul, was seen in many districts. Drivers proceeded with caution on the TEM Highway and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

The fog, which began to take effect with the first light of the morning in the megacity, showed its impact in places in the districts of Beykoz, Çekmeköy, and Sancaktepe, as well as parts of Sarıyer and Kağıthane.

Drivers proceeded with caution due to the dense fog cloud that concentrated around the Kavacık location of the TEM Highway and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

There were no disruptions to maritime services due to the fog.

According to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Cep Trafik application, traffic density across the city was measured at 47 percent as of 07:50.
