Following the ROK crisis at Halk TV, the 'Kayda Geçsin' team parts ways with the channel: 'As of today'

An interview was conducted on Halk TV's YouTube channel with Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, known for his proximity to the government. The interview was announced on Halk TV's social media accounts with the statement: "Journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı revealed very striking information regarding the process on the Halk TV YouTube channel!"

Following this announcement, reactions within the channel grew like an avalanche.

Halk TV columnist Serpil Yılmaz announced that she resigned due to the Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı broadcast.

After this resignation, tensions did not subside, and journalists Barış Pehlivan, Murat Ağırel, Şule Aydın, and Timur Soykan, who host programs on the channel, expressed their reactions through social media posts.

Following the messages in which they expressed their reactions, the journalists who produce the program titled 'Kayda Geçsin' announced that they have parted ways with the channel through Şule Aydın.

In a post on her social media account, Aydın included the following statements:

"Hello everyone…

As the 'Kayda Geçsin' team, we have parted ways with Halk TV as of today.

In a period when the media is being blacked out under government pressure and press freedom is being massacred, we produced broadcasts freely on Halk TV and were supported in this regard.

We would like to thank the Halk TV family and its viewers, who have always been valuable to us."
