Footage emerges of former police officer Cemil Koç abusing Ece Gül: He tied her feet

Footage of abuse by former police officer Cemil Koç, who is being tried in custody for the murder of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed on July 11, 2025, and whose body was placed in a suitcase and left by the roadside in Eyüpsultan, has emerged.

The released footage shows moments where Cemil Koç assaulted and tied up Turkmenistan national Ece Gül with a rope.

In the footage, it is seen that Koç tied Ece Gül's feet and subjected her to violence for minutes.

Following the incident between former police officer Cemil Koç and Turkmenistan national Ece Gül, it was claimed that the young woman lost her life after "falling from a height."

While it was alleged that there were signs of a struggle and numerous bloodstains in the house where the incident occurred, it was revealed that Cemil Koç was not arrested at that time.
