Footage of attack on singer Emirkan emerges

The incident occurred 3 days ago around 16:00 in the Şenlikköy neighborhood of Bakırköy. A statement regarding the beating of singer Emirkan Yıldız was posted on his social media account.

"HE UNDERWENT A DIFFICULT SURGERY"

In the statement made by Emirkan's lawyer, it was stated: "My client Emirkan Yıldız and his dear wife Serap Yıldız were first subjected to verbal harassment while picking up their children from school, and were then beaten and injured by the bodyguard of the lady who had harassed them.

As a result of the beating, my client, who suffered a fracture in his body, underwent a very difficult surgery and is currently in good health.

We respectfully inform the public that we have filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against those responsible for and involved in this horrific and sad incident," the statement read.

"HE PUNCHED THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY FACE"

Stating in his testimony that he went to the person who spoke harshly to him after parking his vehicle, Yıldız allegedly described the event as follows: "When I went to the person and asked what kind of tone that was, this person, whose name I heard as Fatih, punched the right side of my face without saying anything. I fell to the ground," he said. Stating that he was taken to the hospital with the help of those around him, singer Yıldız noted that he had a fracture in his shoulder and underwent surgery.

Famous singer Emirkan, who was attacked by strangers on the way to school in Bakırköy, had been taken into surgery following the altercation. Footage of that attack has emerged.
