Footage has emerged showing the moment a Chinese businessman, who was found dead and buried in a field in Arnavutköy after going missing in Istanbul, was abducted and forced into a vehicle.

On January 24, a missing person report was filed by the lawyer of Chinese citizen Yong Wang (38) with the Bakırköy District Police Department. During the investigation, the GPS signals of the vehicle used by Wang were examined, and it was determined that the vehicle was last seen in a field in the Baklalı neighborhood of Istanbul's Arnavutköy district. Upon this, teams took action and initiated a search operation in the area. During a detailed inspection of the field, police teams found Yong Wang's body buried in the ground with his hands, feet, and mouth bound with packing tape.

New details have emerged

The ongoing investigation determined that the businessman was killed to extort his money and that the perpetrators had been following Wang since he left the airport. It was established that Wang met with an individual named S.L. at a hotel in Bakırköy on January 19. It was determined that after a while, the businessman went to a restaurant with the person accompanying him and then moved to the vicinity of Çemberlitaş Square. While it was determined that the Chinese businessman was abducted and forced into a vehicle, footage of those moments has now emerged.

Security camera footage has emerged

In the camera footage, it is revealed that as Yong Wang was about to get into his vehicle to leave the area, he was forced into another vehicle by individuals identified as C.W., Z.Q., Z.W., and C.W., who were waiting in a car behind him. It was also revealed that two of the suspects got into Wang's own vehicle, and both cars left the scene one after the other. It was determined that the individuals went to a daily rental address in the Arnavutköy district, while Wang's vehicle was left at a different location in the following hours. It was determined that the suspects sought in connection with the murder of the Chinese businessman, identified as S.L., C.W., Z.Q., Z.W., and C.W., departed the country via Istanbul Airport on January 20 and 21.
