Servet and Çiğdem Böcek, who had come to Istanbul from Germany for a vacation, along with their children, 6-year-old Kadir and 3-year-old Masal, lost their lives. In the incident that shook Turkey, the family, who had fallen ill at their hotel, had taken a taxi to the hospital.

The moments when the family, who boarded Sercan Tanrıverdi's taxi, fell ill were captured by the dashcam.

The footage shows Çiğdem Böcek opening a bag for her vomiting daughter and the moments of panic inside the vehicle.

'THEY WERE REFERRED TO ÇAPA HOSPITAL BECAUSE THE CHILDREN WERE NOT TREATED AT BEZMİALEM HOSPITAL'

According to statements, the Böcek family went to Bezmialem Hospital on the morning of November 12 complaining of nausea. At the hospital, Servet and Çiğdem Böcek were given IV fluids and prescribed stomach protectors and painkillers.

'They were referred to Çapa Hospital because the children were not treated at Bezmialem Hospital.

There, the children were prescribed probiotics and they returned to the hotel without any further treatment.'

The family, who did not eat anything that same day due to stomach discomfort, called an ambulance to the hotel when they fell ill again around 01:00 on November 13; this time, they were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
