According to information obtained from Foreign Ministry sources, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
During the call, Fidan drew attention to the fact that the humanitarian situation, particularly in northern Gaza, has reached catastrophic proportions, and emphasized the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
During the meeting, recent developments in Lebanon were also evaluated, and Fidan emphasized that all parties must act with restraint to prevent the war from spreading across the region.
Fidan noted that a ceasefire must be declared in Gaza without delay and that Israel must end its attacks on Lebanon.
The recent situation in Ukraine was also discussed during the call. Additionally, Blinken offered his condolences regarding the terrorist attack that took place in Ankara yesterday.
