Foreign Minister Fidan: I was poisoned
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recounted an assassination attempt he was subjected to years ago during a program he attended as a guest.
Making notable statements during the program he attended, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that he was subjected to an assassination attempt 4-5 years ago. Minister Fidan stated, "I was poisoned with arsenic and mercury, and for that reason, I received treatment for a while."
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made important statements regarding the agenda during the program he attended as a guest.
Stating that the terrorist organization FETÖ targeted him and his family during his time as the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), Minister Fidan said that he was subjected to an assassination attempt 4-5 years ago and that he was revealing this situation for the first time.
"I RECEIVED TREATMENT FOR A WHILE"
Saying, "The propaganda that FETÖ members and other organized crime groups have carried out regarding me and my family has probably never been seen anywhere else on earth," Minister Fidan said, "I was poisoned with arsenic and mercury, and for that reason, I received treatment for a while." When asked "Who did it?", Minister Fidan replied by saying, "There are not only enemies inside, there are enemies everywhere."
Fidan said the following:
"We were also physically subjected to assassination; we were poisoned and received treatment. Apart from that, we are constantly subjected to character assassination, but this is part of the fight. I haven't said it before. I was given heavy arsenic and mercury. It happened somewhere, and then it came out in the tests. It has been 4-5 years. For this reason, I received treatment for a while."
