Foreign Minister Fidan notifies new ambassadorial appointments
According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Minister Fidan has notified the individuals who will serve as ambassadors at Turkey's foreign missions of their new assignments.
Accordingly, it has been decided to appoint Ambassador Basat Öztürk, General Director of International Security, as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Türkiye to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO); Ambassador Fatma Ceren Yazgan, General Director of Migration Policies and Visa Procedures, as the Ambassador to The Hague (Kingdom of the Netherlands); Esra Toplu, General Director of Foreign Policy Planning and Coordination, as the Ambassador to Vilnius (Republic of Lithuania); Ambassador to The Hague Selçuk Ünal as the Ambassador to Beijing (People's Republic of China); and Ambassador to Vilnius Görkem Barış Tantekin as the Ambassador to Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium).
