Foreign Ministry sources announce: 169 more passengers are being evacuated from Beirut
According to information obtained from Foreign Ministry sources, a charter flight arranged for Turkish citizens wishing to leave Lebanon is scheduled to depart from Beirut at 09:00 with 169 passengers on board.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs had initiated evacuation procedures for Turkish citizens wishing to leave Lebanon by sea, with the TCG Bayraktar and TCG Sancaktar ships arriving at the Port of Beirut to carry out the evacuation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously issued a statement calling on citizens not to travel to Lebanon unless necessary.
