Forest entry ban extended in Çanakkale
The ban on entering forests in Çanakkale has been extended due to air temperatures remaining above seasonal norms.
In an announcement made by the Çanakkale Governor's Office, it was reported that due to air temperatures across the province remaining above seasonal norms, the lack of expected rainfall, and the continuation of drought and risky meteorological conditions, the ban on entering forests—except for authorized personnel—has been extended until November 30, 2024, by the decision of the Çanakkale Governor's Office in accordance with Law No. 6831.
