Forest fire in Karabük being fought for 6 hours with 116 vehicles
Efforts to extinguish a forest fire that broke out in the Pirinçlik area of Kahyalar Village in Karabük's central district have been ongoing for 6 hours.
According to a statement from the Karabük Governor's Office, the fire, which started at 18:06, is being fought by Forest Management Directorates, municipal fire departments, the Provincial Special Administration, the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ), Kardemir AŞ, AFAD, the General Directorate of Highways, the gendarmerie, police, teams from neighboring provinces, and volunteers.

The efforts are being supported by 4 helicopters, 116 vehicles, numerous pieces of heavy equipment, and a large number of personnel.

The statement noted that the teams on the ground are continuing their intervention without interruption and that further developments will be shared with the public.
