A fire that broke out yesterday in a forested area in the Banaz district of Uşak has been brought under control. Efforts to combat the fire, which began in the forested area of the Hamzabey location in Karaköse village around 14:30 yesterday, continued throughout the night. The fire was brought under control as a result of approximately 20 hours of work.
Teams are continuing their extinguishing efforts and damage assessment work in the region. The intervention against the fire in the forested area of the Hamzabey location had been launched with 5 helicopters, 230 personnel, and 90 vehicles.
