A simultaneous operation was conducted in 4 provinces, centered in Kırıkkale, as part of a corruption investigation into the Yahşihan Municipality led by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
During the operation, proceedings were initiated against 36 suspects, including former AKP Mayor Ahmet Sungur and former MHP Mayor Osman Türkyılmaz.
Within the scope of the investigation, 31 suspects were detained. It was reported that one suspect is currently in a penal institution, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend 3 other suspects.
